Cable guy: Star Wars: Chewbacca is based on the Star Wars franchise. Chewbacca (Chewie for short) is a male Wookiee who was known as a talented pilot and mechanic. During the time of the Galactic Empire, Kashyyyk was enslaved, and Chewbacca among other Wookiees was sent to the mines as a slave. At the same time, Han Solo, who had no tolerance for slavery, was attending the Academy. When Solo saw Wookiees and Chewbacca being abused by their overseers, the Corellian couldn't bear it and rescued the Wookiee, for which he was kicked out of the Academy. Han Solo subsequently became Chewbacca's best friend.
